14 Reasons Entrepreneurs Give Up Too Soon (And How To Avoid Doing So)
Entrepreneurship is a journey that can be fraught with challenges and uncertainties at every turn. Sometimes, the hardest decision for an entrepreneur to make is simply figuring out when to persist, when to pivot and when to give up entirely.
Here, our Founder Kathy Shanley joins 13 Forbes Coaches Council members to share common reasons entrepreneurs may give up too soon. They also share their best advice to help leaders avoid or push through these challenges to explore every possible avenue to success before cutting their losses and finding a new path to take.
Taking A Casual Approach
One reason entrepreneurs give up too soon is because they don’t have a clear idea of how to execute their plan and their approach is too casual. Finally, as the book The Work of Leaders suggests, set expectations and constantly keep them top of mind so that you can’t wait to get to the next step. — Kathleen Shanley, Statice
